A Song That Speaks to This Generation

In today’s fast-moving world, especially for young people, life is all about building careers, chasing dreams, gaining recognition, and securing the future. But in the middle of all this, the song “Koodaaravaasiye Niththiyar Irukkaiyil” brings a deep truth:

Life is temporary—but eternity is real.

“What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.” — James 4:14

This message is not meant to discourage us—but to redirect our focus to what truly matters.

Life Is Temporary: Don’t Build Everything on This World

The song compares life to a tent—something temporary and movable.

“For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven.” — 2 Corinthians 5:1

  • Careers can change
  • Money can come and go
  • Fame is temporary

Don’t build your entire identity on something that won’t last.

Why Are You Worried? God Is Still in Control

God’s presence is your greatest security.

Shift Your Focus: Seek What Truly Matters

The world says: “Achieve more, earn more, become more.”
But God says:

“Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” — Colossians 3:2

“Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness.” — Matthew 6:33

For young people:

  • It’s good to have goals
  • It’s good to grow

But don’t forget God while building your life.



How Should We Live? 

1. Live with Purpose, Not Just Pressure

“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” — Psalm 90:12

Don’t just go with the flow—live intentionally.

2. Don’t Let Success Define You

“What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?” — Mark 8:36

Your worth is not your salary, marks, or achievements.
Your identity is in God.

3. Stay Spiritually Rooted

“Remain in Me, as I also remain in you.” — John 15:4

In a busy life:

  • Pray regularly
  • Read the Bible
  • Stay connected to God

4. Be Different from the World

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world…” — Romans 12:2

It’s okay to stand out.
You are called to live differently—with values, integrity, and faith.

5. Invest in Eternity

“Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven…” — Matthew 6:20

Do things that have eternal value:

  • Loving others
  • Helping people
  • Serving God

A Real Challenge for This Generation

Today’s generation is talented, creative, and full of potential.
But without the right focus, it’s easy to feel empty—even after success.

“Our citizenship is in heaven.” — Philippians 3:20

You are not just living for today.
You are preparing for eternity.

Build Your Life on What Lasts

Life is like a tent—it won’t last forever.
But God is preparing something eternal for you.

“Here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come.” — Hebrews 13:14

So:

  • Don’t panic over temporary struggles
  • Don’t chase only temporary success
  • Don’t forget your eternal purpose

Choose to live differently.

Choose to live for Christ.

Choose eternity.
